Short-term rehabilitation services

Our experienced rehabilitation team at Hartsfield Village is committed and passionate about providing the highest quality therapy services in an enjoyable, warm and encouraging environment. Patients are empowered through individualized programs to achieve goals of increased independence and ability.

Our post-acute rehabilitation program offers state-of-the-art technology and advanced rehabilitation techniques to help our patients achieve maximum function and independence.

Our ongoing staff education, training and thorough knowledge in post-acute rehabilitation pathways and protocols ensures professionals are highly skilled and ready to serve patients who have complex medical needs.

What you can expect

During the first therapy session, our patients are asked to define their goals, and the rehabilitation team will work closely with each individual to achieve them. A personalized, comprehensive therapy plan is developed to promote the highest level of independence and functioning for each patient. Patient families are also encouraged to participate in therapy sessions, caregiver education and training. Our Post-Acute Rehabilitation program features comprehensive and intensive therapies in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, as well as utilization of the latest equipment and modalities to improve function and performance.

We offer the following:

• therapy up to seven days a week
• state-of-the-art therapy gyms
• strength-building and mobility equipment
• ultrasound, electro-stimulation and short-wave diathermy treatments to enhance recovery by helping to relax and heal muscles and alleviate pain and stiffness
• virtual reality interactive therapy

Clinical capabilities

Our on-site medical team is qualified to care for residents from head to toe. In addition to our medical director, the team comprises a pulmonologist, nephrologist, neurologist, physiatrist, dentist, podiatrist, infectious disease specialist and two full-time advanced nurse practitioners.

Residents are able to receive much of their medical care without leaving the comfort of our campus. Our clinical team provides IV antibiotics and fluids, pain management, wound care, diagnostics, lab work, nutritional assessments and specialized diets, as well as respiratory, physical, occupational and speech therapies. 

Fees

Many residents in the Rehabilitation Center have their fees met in whole or in part by Medicare or Medicaid programs. Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village is certified by both programs. These programs establish the qualifications and requirements for resident payment. The admissions staff at the Rehabilitation Center will be able to answer questions specific to your situation. For individuals who are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid, there are daily fees based on private suite or semi-private suite options.
