Among the 106 Independent Living Apartments at Hartsfield Village, there are several different sizes and styles of one- and two-bedroom units from which to choose. Residents furnish their apartments to suit their personal taste and lifestyle.

Independent Living Fees
There are two fees for this level. The first is a refundable deposit that is paid before moving in. The amount of the deposit is dependent on the size of the apartment selected. This deposit remains with Hartsfield Village as long as the resident is on campus. When the resident is no longer on campus, 95% of the deposit is returned for a single person and 90% for a couple. There is a “90 days or less” return guarantee. This deposit provides the resident with a Long-Term Care Benefit. It is important to note that the Long-Term Care Benefit that Independent Living residents receive provides both priority access and discounted fees should higher levels of living be needed.
The second fee option is a monthly service fee. The amount of this fee is also apartment-size related and includes the services and amenities listed on the Independent Living page of this website, without the Long-Term Care Benefit.
If there are two people residing in an Independent Living or Assisted Living apartment, an additional monthly fee is charged for the second person.

Yes, small dogs and cats are welcome. Our counselors can provide details regarding the Hartsfield Village pet policy.
Your family and friends are always welcome at Hartsfield Village. Overnight guests may stay in your apartment, or they may reserve one of our guest rooms for a nominal fee.
If you bring your vehicle, one space is reserved for you. If you have an additional vehicle, you may park outdoors, or if there is garage space available, you may rent an additional space for a monthly fee.
Our resident services director will work hand-in-hand with you to assist in an assessment of your needs and in developing a plan to provide you with the appropriate care and services.
