Leslie DarrowLeslie Darrow is a licensed Health Facility Administrator in the State of Indiana and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois.  She has worked in the healthcare arena, managing various levels of residential senior living and long-term care for 30 years.  Currently, Ms. Darrow is proud to be serving as the Executive Director of Hartsfield Village Continuing Care Retirement Community and as the Vice President of Post-Acute Services for Powers Health.

Leslie has a wealth of experience in the field of post-acute rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing settings, memory care service lines, and home health services.

Leslie has held various professional positions at nursing facilities in the southeast suburbs of Illinois and Central Indiana ranging from consulting to operations.

Leslie has a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and political science from Indiana University.  She prides herself on operating facilities that offer extraordinary patient care and experience, crediting her professional accomplishments to her passion for wanting to increase the quality of life for the aging population in her community.

 

Susan FinnSusan Seydel is licensed as a health facility administrator in Indiana and as a nursing home administrator in Illinois. She has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years. She is thrilled to be the senior administrator for the Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village.

Susan has both a bachelor’s degree in Health Planning & Administration from the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis. She began her career with the Joint Commission, focusing primarily on accreditation standards and compliance. After receiving her master’s degree, she transitioned into management of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Susan has a wealth of experience managing facilities with specialized programs dedicated to post-acute rehabilitation, dementia care and long-term residential nursing care. She is a recipient of the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership in long-term care.

Susan prides herself on operating facilities at Hartsfield Village and providing high-quality care and superb customer service.

Lisa FuscoLisa Fusco is a licensed residential care administrator in Indiana. She has worked in healthcare for nearly 18 years and is proud to serve as the Assisted Living administrator and Independent Living director at Hartsfield Village.

Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Illinois State University. She also has a wealth of experience working with people with disabilities. She is skilled in recreation and social services/case management in skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation facilities.

Her leadership style prioritizes empathy, compassion and family partnership, resulting in quality resident care and customer service. Lisa’s approach promotes an elevated quality of life for residents and peace of mind for families at Hartsfield Village.

Larissa RudloffLarissa Rudloff serves as the clinical director of Operations with more than 30 years of clinical experience. Her professional journey spans staff and administrative roles across hospital settings, long-term care and home care services. For more than three decades, she has held Director of Nursing and consultative positions in various post-acute entities.

She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Purdue University Northwest and holds a license as a registered nurse and residential care administrator.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Larissa has been honored with the Linda Woolley Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award presented by LeadingAge Indiana. She is deeply committed to education and workforce development, with a strong passion for mentoring and supporting staff in their professional growth.

Larissa’s passion for geriatrics has been a constant thread throughout her career. She has a unique combination of acute nursing experience and proven managerial skills. She focuses on providing compassionate, quality healthcare to our residents and patients in all post-acute settings.

jolene gelardenJolene Gelarden is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her master’s degree in science as a family nurse practitioner from Purdue University Northwest and bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in psychology from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Jolene has been affiliated with Powers Health since 2002.

Jolene has a background in critical care and cardiovascular nursing with experience in outpatient heart failure and diabetes management. She joined Hartsfield Village in 2014 with more than 13 years of experience in general family practice.

Jolene not only brings her strong clinical background to Hartsfield Village, but has a compassionate and holistic approach as an advocate for her patients. She plays an integral role in the patient’s plan of care, by easing the transition from the hospital to rehabilitation setting and assisting in the coordination of a seamless discharge back to the patient’s home.

Jolene cares for residents in both the Rehabilitation Center and Assisted Living. She collaborates with the primary care physicians and serves as a liaison between the physicians, clinical team and the patient/family. Jolene also specializes in palliative and hospice care. She prides herself on the individualized treatment of residents and patients, in all stages of life.

ahmed sharifA family medicine physician, Sharif was appointed medical director for Hartsfield Village in November 2021. Under his direction, the Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village strives to meet every patient’s needs and preferences, focusing on quality care and recovery.

Sharif also serves as the Medical Director for Alliance Health Partners and is on staff at Community Hospital in Munster. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. 

Sharif specializes in both hospital and post-acute care settings. He was born in Chicago and is a lifelong Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears fan. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, and spending time with his wife and three energetic young boys.
